Jean Paul Sartre

Hi everybody!

Today I'm going to talk about a person that I admire a lot, this is Jean Paul Sartre. Only with say that he was a philosopher, writer, novelist, dramatist and literary critic, also was exponent of existencialism and humanist marxism...seems like we talk about a complete person.

My closeness to Jean Paul Sartre was when I study in high school, there a classmate speak in a presentation about he. Her presentation attract my attention and I started to search about Sartre. His biography makes motivate me to read a novel "La Nausea", in this moment I loved it (this was on 2006 aproximately).

Other reason because calls my attention is that he was married with Simone de Beauvoir, a person that I admire too; a philosopher, teacher, writer and a key woman in the history of feminism. (I can't continue without a quote that I love of Beauvoir about the Sartre's death: "His death separate us. My death will not bring us together. that is; is too beautiful that out lives have been together for so long"

Also, other thing that makes me love Sartre is the reasons because he refuses the Nobel Prize on 1964.

To be or not to be

Like many thursdays in the year, today is a march day. I think that the majority of us knows about the march routine; get together to central point (generally, Plaza Italia), look for the banner of the faculty, waiting for start...begins the walk, when the route is over the police arrive and start the resistance.
However, this event in the day is not only the routine described earlier in the text, also represent the massive discontent of many students. This event force us to put several beliefs in tension, some people believe that go to march is a deteriorated mechanism and we need new ideas, others think that fight has to be on the street, or that the student movement no longer exists, etc.
I think that the marchs have become routine, but is necessary remember the disputes sometimes, because the student demands still alive. Personally, after Revolución Pingüina or 2011 left something important as lesson, and I believe this lesson is different for everyone. My reflection after this years has been that everyone discover a cause for work or fight, can be the university education, work with high school students, work with employees, teach in neighborhood, etc. I think that go to march is necessary to remember and feel the power of union, but at present I don't know if this is the only way in the demands of student movement.

Jazz

Hi everybody, today I'm going to write about the Jazz, a topic that has caught my attention lately. I don't want to talk about de history of the Jazz, however I prefer to tell you the reason for my interest. Since six years ago I found a group called Chick Corea, a fusion Jazz band of 60-70's (today he continue composing and playing), I liked so much, but eventually I stopped listening, not because I didn't like it, but because I got to know other groups. A few weeks ago, for coincidence I listened again and I get trapped.

Therefore, with help of a musician friends today I'm learning and listening everyday about several Jazz genre. Today I don't know much, but I'm very interest in the genre, I try to search information about new bands to know and listen to, although the study and daily stuff didn't allow much.

Among the bands that I knew, until now my favourites are Snarky Puppy, a instrumental fusion band with 40 musicians nearly. Other bang that I liked too much were a American Jazz singer, bassist and cellist.
